If I might give you some constructive critique.
You need to check out the autofocus on your camera.
A little bit shorter shutter speed and using a tripod would be good.
The D-90 is an awesome camera!
Experiment a lot! It's fun!
Try different aperature and shutter speeds on the same place (same sene).
